Although his subjects are traditional, his manner opens new perspectives to amateurs of landscape painting, bucolic scenes, seascapes or contemplations of country life.
Georges Ferro La Grée creates light and with brief brush strokes, makes radiant paintings in witch nothing is precise, everything is to be discovered. For these characteristics, the painter may be considered a worthy son of the 19th century Impressionist masters.
“Talent must be nurtured with effort and love. Ferro La Grée’s paintings, in spite of their apparent spontaneity of facture, their exalted colors, their chosen motifs, are accomplished, thoughtful and definitive works.”
