Stratos
Bio-portrait d’un inventeur de bonheur.
D’origine grecque, Charles-Athanas-Stratos Papadopoulos est connu de tous sous l’usage de son troisième prénom. Stratos verra le jour en 1953. Très jeune, il s’oriente vers l’architecture où nombre de ses acquits lui serviront dans la construction de son imaginaire et de sa facture artistique.
Dès 1972, il crée ses premières toiles, pendant ses loisirs, en parallèle d’une importante activité de négoce. 1983, marque ses premiers essais en sculpture. D’abord sur bois avec l’apparition de formes triangulaires et dans la même veine, en 88, il participe à la fonte de son premier bronze « Sapho », en figuration transposée de géométrie dans l’espace.

Of Greek origin, Charles-Athanas-Stratos Papadopoulos is known to all by his third given name. Stratos was born in 1953. From a very young age, he gravitated towards architecture, where much of his knowledge would serve him in shaping his imagination and artistic style.
Starting in 1972, he created his first canvases in his spare time, alongside a significant business career. 1983 marked his first forays into sculpture. Initially working in wood, he explored triangular forms, and in the same vein, in 1988, he participated in the casting of his first bronze, "Sappho," a transposed representation of geometry in space.
